Bright is a gourmet food destination, being close to several premium food and wine regions.
Around the region
- Wandiligong – there’s the Wandi Pub, and Nightingale Brothers apple farm, which also stocks an extensive range of regional foods.
- Beechworth – home to Bridge Road Brewers, and the famed Beechworth Bakery (which is also in Bright!)
- Milawa – lots of wineries to be found, from the legendary Brown Brothers to many smaller growers. The Milawa Cheese Factory is also here.
- Porepunkah – There’s the Punka Pub, and Ringer Reef, one of our favourite local wineries.
- King Valley – allow at least a day here, there is so much food and wine to sample, check out the website.
